School Improvement Plan
The Council works closely with the faculty and administration to develop a School Improvement Plan (SIP) that is submitted to the Superintendent of Schools and the Newton School Committee.

- Utilizing data in needs analysis, goal setting, and evaluation of outcomes
- Incorporating SIP elements as outlined in the G.L. C. 71, s. 59C
- Establishing clear goals and standards, including the student performance standards adopted by the board
- Setting clear priorities, objectives, strategies, and timelines
